GoodHope has a rich history of faithfulness in the Starr/Iva community. We have been in existence for over 75 years and the future seems even brighter than ever! GoodHope strives to be a contemporary church that impacts people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Come and experience what God is doing here! There are 3 values we hold dear at GoodHope: Worship, Connect, and Serve

Worship

It is imperative that believers spend time each week in a corporate worship service with other believers. Spending time in worship and listening to biblical teaching strengthens your walk with God. GoodHope loves to worship together.

Sunday

9:00am Sunday School Classes for all ages

10:00am Contemporary Worship Service

Home Groups meet during the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month throughout the week.

Wednesday

7:00 - 8:00pm

Nursery for ages birth to 24 months in the Education Center
TeamKid for pre-school through 5th Grade in the Education Center
Student Ministry worship service in the Chapel for teenagers

Mid-Week CoffeeHouse for adults in the Worship Life Center. Come enjoy acoustic worship, conversation, a cup of coffee, and engaging Bible study!

Connect

The Christian life is meant to be lived in the context of a community. We believe the best environment for close relationships is outside of the regular church week on our campus. There is something special about going to someone's home to share quality time and a meal. Home Groups give you the opportunity to connect with people, strengthening your connection to God and to others.

Serve

The Christian life is a life of service. Each believer can give back to others by ministering within the church. Some people teach children. Some people wash dishes. Some people welcome new comers in the parking lot. Some people fix broken things behind the scenes. Everyone has a place of ministry at GoodHope. There is great joy when we serve Jesus by serving others.

Church isn't about what it can do for us. It's about what we can do to help bring the Kingdom of God to Earth. We are most like Jesus when we serve. GoodHope cannot become all God has called us to be without those willing to get serious about serving in the church and in our community.

People who follow Jesus are called by God to use their time, treasure and talents for His Kingdom. Jesus said in Mark 10:43, "Whoever wants to be GREAT among you must be a servant of all." Here at GoodHope we have opportunities for you to jump in and serve. These include:
